American Heritage was named as “Best Place to Work” in the extra-large companies category by the Philadelphia Business Journal. The Best Place to Work program ranks the top employers in the region based upon employee survey results. American Heritage and the rest of this year’s winners were honored at a recognition event on July 30, 2019 and will be published in an upcoming issue of the Philadelphia Business Journal.

American Heritage was named as one of the Best-In-State credit unions in Pennsylvania in a recent study by Forbes and the market research firm Statista. This is the second year in a row that American Heritage was recognized with this prestigious accolade. Forbes’ America's Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions publication was chosen based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 25,000 U.S. citizens spread among all states.

American Heritage raised $82,000 through its 26th Annual Gelatin Olympics for its Kids-N-Hope Foundation (The Foundation) on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. More than ­140 sliders dressed up in their most creative costumes and took the plunge into a pool full of 1,000 gallons of strawberry gelatin to help support the Foundation.

American Heritage's President & CEO, Bruce K. Foulke, was invited by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) to speak at the Nepal Federation of Savings & Credit Cooperative Unions Ltd. (NEFSCUN) CEO Summit 2019 Conference, held in May.

American Heritage and Entercom Philadelphia’s 98.1 WOGL-FM held their Annual Car Show, Craft Show and Member Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 18, 2019 on the grounds of American Heritage’s headquarters in Northeast Philadelphia. The event raised over $14,000 for American Heritage’s Kids-N-Hope Foundation, which supports the Music Therapy Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and other local area hospitals in American Heritage’s Workplace Partnership Program.
