American Heritage Credit Union hosted its Annual Adopt-A-Family program this holiday season, and through the combined effort of their membership and staff, raised over $26,000 for the program.

American Heritage Credit Union (American Heritage) was recently presented with the 2019 Social Responsibly Award at the HR Department of the Year Awards. The 22nd Annual HR Department of the Year Awards Ceremony was held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Crystal Tea Room.

Bruce K. Foulke, President and CEO of American Heritage Credit Union has been named a recipient of the Most Admired CEO awards by the Philadelphia Business Journal. The honorees were highlighted in print on December 6, 2019.

The event included a presentation of a $225,000 donation to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to commemorate the cumulative 2019 fundraising efforts through the Credit Union’s Kids-N-Hope Foundation. The Foundation, organized by American Heritage Credit Union in 1996, provides support for Child Life Services, specifically, Musical Therapy at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and other local hospitals within American Heritage’s Workplace Partner Program. To date, the Foundation has raised more than $1.7 million dollars through its fundraising efforts.

American Heritage was recently honored as the 2019 Training Department of the Year winner at the CUNA ELLy awards on October 20, 2019. The CUNA ELLy awards recognize and honor credit union staff that develop innovative and unique training initiatives to drive progress in the credit union movement.
