How does Gigi work?

When you ask our virtual associate Gigi a question, Gigi uses artificial intelligence to analyze your words to understand your request. Based upon that understanding, Gigi will select the most appropriate response from a pre-defined set of answers written by our associates.

 

Gigi, powered by Amelia, is conversational AI that uses natural language processing and machine learning to simulate human conversations with AMHFCU members. All responses are based on internal data and information provided by members.

 

How do I see the transactions Gigi completes for me?

All transactions completed by Gigi are done in real time and will be reflected immediately on your account. You can see your transaction history by logging into Online Teller or Mobile Teller.

How does Gigi learn and improve?

Every time you chat with Gigi, Gigi gathers information about what types of responses are most helpful based on your feedback and questions. Our internal team reviews the conversations and refines responses to make sure Gigi is updated with new information and data regularly. By speaking to Gigi, you’re helping this new technology grow!

What happens if Gigi can't answer my question?

 

Gigi's responses are based on the best match to the questions people commonly ask.

If Gigi doesn't recognize someone's question or doesn't have the appropriate answer, Gigi can connect you to a Member Advisor by phone or chat. She can also provide you with a link to set up an appointment for a call back or a branch visit.

What languages can Gigi speak?

Gigi is only able to communicate in English at this time.

Are my conversations with Gigi recorded?

Conversations with Gigi are recorded for quality assurance, for further training, and for us to understand how our members are utilizing Gigi’s services.

Is Gigi secure and private?

Yes. Your interactions with Gigi are protected by the same privacy and security features as any call with an American Heritage member service representative. We regularly update our security protocols to stay ahead of emerging threats, ensuring your data is kept confidential and protected with the highest standards of privacy and security.
