American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) has received a 2024 Tekkie Award for Innovation from Finopotamus, recognizing its use of applying data and innovation to improve various credit union processes and member experiences by working with Datava, an end-to-end data activation platform that works with financial institutions and credit unions.

American Heritage was one of seven credit unions and credit union service organizations (CUSOs) to receive an award from Finopotamus. Finopotamus is an online publication that brings the latest technology updates and other unique news to credit unions throughout the country. The outlet takes a multidisciplinary approach to its news, analyzing various industries to provide credit unions with the latest updates and robust perspectives.

This award reflects American Heritage’s commitment to bridging its use of data and innovation. American Heritage identified the need to develop a dedicated data and innovation team to improve processes and explore opportunities for growth and improved member experiences. Adrian Rodriguez, Senior Vice President for Data and Innovation and Breana Wolfert, Vice President for Data and Innovation, oversee the team at American Heritage and work side-by-side with Datava to bring forward the latest improvements and updates to American Heritage.
