American Heritage Credit Union has formed a partnership with Caring for Friends to help make a long-term impact in the lives of those in need. In April, American Heritage made a $10,000 donation to the organization and its associates gathered to pack over one thousand snack bags for Caring for Friends clients throughout the region.

The snack packaging event was the first of three events that American Heritage and its associates will host this year to provide food for individuals and families in need throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

Caring for Friends serves approximately 10,000 homebound seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities, as well as people experiencing homelessness.

“The need for food donations continues to increase drastically in our region as inflation and overall food costs rise,” stated Bruce K. Foulke, American Heritage President & CEO. “We can always count on American Heritage’s associates to step up and help those in need.  Thanks to their hard work, over 1,000 individuals in our community will enjoy nutritious meals.  We are excited for the partnership we have created with Caring for Friends and look forward to upcoming opportunities to make in impact in our community.”
